The Drawing Room is a great place to host arts / education based community projects. Below are some examples of projects that have taken place here. If you would like to run a community based project here, please contact us on our contact page.

Men's Health Lounge

We have been delighted to host Men's Health Lounge or MHL run by the WEA, on a weekly basis here at The Drawing Room.

Men’s Health Lounge (MHL) is a 6 month pilot programme intended to develop the health and wellbeing education work we've done in Sheffield with vulnerable adults. It brings project facilitators, a team of dedicated volunteers, and men experiencing chronic physical and mental ill health together to collaborate in a unique and exciting community project. MHL aims to develop a non-clinical alternative route to wellbeing designed ‘by men, for men’ that offers a safe and welcoming space for men to access the support they need at the earliest possible stage, and onwards through their journey of recovery.

Autistic Society Photography Group

We had a great time with The Sheffield Autistic Society when they held their photography group here. The group put on a short exhibition of their work here, at the end of the project.
